It was great to be involved in Emerald Publishing’s Wellbeing Week by being invited to kick-off the week with a session on managing pressures and challenges at work.
We took a little look at how our stressful thoughts about challenging situations can hijack us, causing us to feel stressed, stuck and unable to deal with things. We also shared lots of useful tools to help manage stress “in the moment” and increase longer-term resilience.
It was a fun and interactive session, lovely to meet the team at Emerald Publishing and a real treat to start off their week of wellbeing, which included loads of fantastic activities and sessions. Hats off to Emerald Publishing’s People Team for organising such a brilliant week
